Eagles Anounce Golf Tourney

The Iowa Eagles are having their Fourth Annual Four Person Best Shot Golf Tournament on Sunday,June 27, at Lakeside Golf Course. Starts at 1 p.m. with a shot gun start. 18 holes are $35 per person (cart extra). The meal is included and you can call Lakeside Pro Shop at (515)576-6741 to register your team.

Eagles Add Two More Games

The Eagles front office would like to announce that they have added two more games to their schedule. Both games will be against the Des Moines Threshers. The first game on July 3 will be played in Des Moines and the second game will be the following weekend in Fort Dodge on July 10.

Eagles Drop Heartbreaker

Eagles Add Four Games To Schedule
June 8, 2010
July 26, July 16, August 7, and August 14. Mark these dates down on your calendar because the Eagles are playing four more games this season. The June and August 7 contests are against the River City Rough Riders hailing out of La Crosse, WI while the July and August 14 games are against the Bridge City Knights from Ottumwa. The June and July games are both home and are to be played in legendary Dodger Stadium in Fort Dodge.

Vikings Forfeit Game This Weekend

The Iowa Eagles front office is deeply disappointed to tell you that the Cedar Valley Vikings had forfeited their game against us this weekend that was to be held in Fort Dodge on June 5. The forfeit gives the Eagles their first win of the season and bumps them into second place in the Mid-land Football League standings. The Eagles WILL have a game next Saturday in Dodge Stadium against the Quad City Stallions. Also, we will still have a float in the Frontier Days Parade this Saturday, June 5. See you there!

No Game This Weekend

The game that we were working out to be played this weekend in Dodger Stadium will not be happening. We're trying the best to get a game either Memorial Day weekend or the weekend of Independence Day. Also, there will not be an episode of The Eagle's Nest this week. This Weekend's Game Dropped from Schedule

The Eagles front office regrets to inform you that there will not be a home game this weekend. We are in the process of scheduling another home game, most likely on May 22nd. We WILL be playing next weekend in Rock Island, Illinois against the Quad City Stallions.

Eagles Kick-Off 2010

Saturday, May 1st is the official Kick-Off to the 2010 Season for the Iowa Eagles. Playing in Dodger Stadium the Eagles will face off against the Sharks out of Sutherland, IA begining at 6:00 pm. Gates open to the public at 5:00 pm. Adult Tickets are just $5, students $3, and children under 10 are Free.

Eagles Announce 2010 Media Day

The Iowa Eagles would like to announce that they will be hosting their annual Media Day this Saturday, April 24, at the Barnum Elementary School practice football field. The media is encouraged to attend and this event is open to the general public.

Golf with the Eagles

Prairie View Golf & Grill in Gowire is hosting a Golf Outing with the Eagles on Sunday, April 25th. Brunch will be from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm with 9 holes of golf begining at Noon. Prairie View is offering 1/2 price Green Fees for all who show up for a Round with the Eagles.

Eagles Add Thursday Evening Practices

Starting this week the Eagles will begin practicing on Thursday evenings begining at 6:00 pm as well as Saturday afternoons at 3:00 pm. Both practices will be held at the MNW Elementary in Barnum.

Eagles Introduce Fan Zone

Next Practice

The Eagles next practice will be at the MNW Elementary in Barnum on February 13th starting at 3:00pm. Helmets will be handed out to to those who turn in their player fee. Equipment will also be available for purchase for anyone interested in getting theirs now. Players who did not receive their playbooks or order form at the last practice need to contact Josh Seltz to pick them up.

2010 Tryout Dates Set

The Eagles will host their 2010 tryouts on January 9th at 9:00 am in the Fort Dodge Community Recreation Center Gym (former YMCA). Tryouts are open for anyone interested in playing for the Eagles in 2010. The tryout will consist of a 1 hour workout with the Eagles staff followed by an informative meeting. No need to be in shape yet, No Testing required. Just show up in your workout gear.

Eagles to Play in Fort Dodge for 2010 Season

Just Announced: The Iowa Eagles will play all home games at Dodger Stadium in Fort Dodge, IA starting in May. Home to the Fort Dodge Dodgers, and host to the St. Edmond Gaels and Iowa Central CC Tritons, the historic brick walled, Dodger Stadium features recently installed synthetic turf along with several on-going renovations to make it one of the premier 4-sport complexes in the state. The Eagles are excited to call Fort Dodge and Dodger Stadium their new home.
